The BSBOPS601 Develop and implement business plans (Business Plan) unit provides for those people who intend to operate their own Security or Investigative Services business, or undertake employment as a private contractor.
This course meets the skills and knowledge requirements that are needed to attain licensing requirements for the Business Criteria for Contractors under the Security and Investigation Industry Act 1995 (SA). The Business Plan unit covers the processes required for developing and implementing business strategies across basic risk assessment, operational planning and marketing and covers considerations for monitoring and reviewing business activity.
Who should do this course?
This course is suitable to those who wish to apply for a Security/Investigation Agent’s licence to operate as a private contractor or where the applicant is a body corporate.
Delivery
The Business Plan program is a self-paced study program that is completed via online learning. This course allows for an immediate start and includes external course readings and assessment activities.
Duration of training us up to 12 months.
On successful completion of this course, participant receive a statement of attainment for the following unit of competency:
